Brisbane’s iconic cabaret institution Women in Voice returns with yet another formidable line-up of superlative songstresses, a mix of beloved favourites and, in the finest Women in Voice tradition: exceptional new talent.
This year we are delighted to welcome three newcomers to the Women in Voice family, including: Sahara Beck - the dazzlingly unique singer and songwriter voted Most Popular Female at the 2015 Queensland Music Awards, Alicia Cush - who has been delighting audiences in Brisbane and across Queensland as part of Little Black Dress Creatives and Emcee Judy Hainsworth - writer, composer and performer of the hugely successful comedy double act #FirstWorldWhiteGirls.
They will be joined by ‘Women in Voice Royalty’: Leah Cotterell - who wowed audiences at the 2015 Women of the World Festival at QPAC and Alison St Ledger - who has promised us yet another priceless trip down a retro-memory lane.
The creation of each new Women in Voice production is so much more than just another song concert, it’s an event that sees Brisbane’s enormous vocal talent creating and celebrating together.
We look forward to celebrating with you.

In the most delightfully unlikely cabaret combination ever, Sample Gags brings together three of Brisbane’s most loved comedy cabaret acts – Greg Bird’s mullet-toting antihero Cliffy, Bridget Boyle and David Megarrity’s naively hilarious folk duo ‘Luke and Lena Warmwaters’ and fresh from the Melbourne Cabaret Fringe Festival the truly awful ‘#FirstWorldWhiteGirls’ featuring Judy Hainsworth and Kaitlin Oliver Parker.
